When to use Fast Wall System

You should consider using the Fast Wall System when:

  • The wall substrate is stable (plasterboard/skim), with no major structural movement, deflection risk or large cracks.
  • You want a fast turnaround compared to heavier/mesh‐reinforced wall systems — the 4-5 day timeframe is shorter than the more robust “Belt & Braces Wall” which is 6-7 days.
  • You’re working in a residential or commercial interior where the finish matters — a seamless, elegant micro-cement wall for a feature, showroom, reception, etc.
  • The environment is not subject to heavy mechanical impact, major thermal movement, or extreme structural movement (because the system lacks mesh reinforcement).
  • You want a waterproof, decorative finish on interior walls (note: while this system offers waterproofing, if you are dealing with very wet zones or demanding environments you may step up to the more reinforced system).

When you might not use it

Situations where this system may be less appropriate:

  • If the wall substrate is unstable, has large movement, cracks, or deflection — then you’d likely want the more robust “Belt & Braces Wall” version
  • If the environment is very demanding (wet-room showers, heavy traffic walls, commercial areas with impact) and you want maximum durability.
  • If you need to cover a substrate that’s not simply plasterboard/skim (e.g., cement board, tile substrate, or a more complex substrate) — then the specification might require a different system or more reinforcement.
