Step by Step

How to apply.

Check if you need it

Run your hand over the cured microcement. Rough enough to catch a cloth? Use Fill Coat. Already smooth? Skip it.

Prep the surface

Fully cured, clean, and free of dust, oil and grease.

Mix 60:40 by weight

Part B into Part A — 60:40 by weight, which is the whole kit if you are mixing a full one. Low-speed drill and paddle, 300–400 rpm, three minutes. Weigh it, never eyeball it.

Pour off and remix

Into a clean bucket, then remix, so nothing unmixed ends up on the wall. Pot life is 20 minutes at 68°F.

Roll one thin coat

Roller, one thin pass. You are filling pores, not building thickness.

6

Dry, then seal

About three hours — longer in cold or still air — then sealer as normal. Apply between 41°F and 77°F.

How much do I need?

Enter your square footage and we will work out Part A and Part B for one coat. The ratio is 60:40 by weight — always weigh, never eyeball. One kit is 5.00 kg: Part A 3.00 kg, Part B 2.00 kg. Ounces are scale ounces, so weigh them. Pot life is 20 minutes at 68°F, so only mix what you can roll in that time.
