Microvella Fill Coat DA (Dry Areas)

Fill Coat is an optional step between your finish coat and your sealer. It fills the surface pores on a coarse texture so the finish wipes clean instead of catching dirt.

DA is the dry-area version — interior walls, bare concrete floors, indoor fireplaces. It belongs to the Core system. One component, ready to use, no mixing.

Run your hand over the cured microcement. If it feels rough enough to grab a cloth, use Fill Coat. If your finish is already smooth, you can skip it.

Stir it, then trowel on one thin coat with a plastic trowel over cured, clean, dust-free microcement. Working time is 60 minutes. About an hour to dry, then seal as normal. Fill Coat does not replace your sealer coats.

Coverage: 670 sq ft per pail, one coat — about $0.89 per sq ft. Apply between 41°F and 77°F. Coverage varies based on substrate and application thickness.
