Microvella Fill Coat WA (Wet Areas)

Fill Coat is an optional step between your finish coat and your sealer. It fills the surface pores on a coarse texture so the finish wipes clean instead of catching dirt.

WA is the wet-area version — showers, wet rooms, wet-area floors. It belongs to the Reinforced system. Two parts, mixed on site.

Run your hand over the cured microcement. If it feels rough, use Fill Coat. A smooth finish does not need it.

Mix Part B into Part A at 60:40 by weight — that is a full kit if you are mixing a whole one. Low-speed drill and paddle, 300–400 rpm, three minutes. Pour it into a clean bucket and remix so you are not pulling unmixed material out of the corners. Pot life is 20 minutes at 68°F.

Roll on one thin coat over cured, clean microcement. About three hours to dry — longer in cold or still air — then seal as normal. Fill Coat does not replace your sealer coats.

Coverage: 225 sq ft per kit, one coat — about $3.77 per sq ft. Apply between 41°F and 77°F. Coverage varies based on substrate and application thickness.
